This is a difficult question to answer as there are regional variations as well as the complexity of each job to consider. However in the North East of England a straightforward bedroom or lounge should cost between £2.50 and £3.00/sqm to be fitted but you should expect a minimum charge in the region of £30.00. You will also need to consider how far the fitter needs to travel to get to you.

Vinyl flooring will cost slightly more as generally it is a more time consuming and trickier job to undertake. Natural floor coverings such as sisal will cost anywhere from £8.00/sqm and upwards to have installed.
